What is an e-card?
An e-card is a greeting delivered digitally instead of through the mail. With Moonrise Cards, you choose artwork, add a name and personal message, and send an email linking to a private card page. The recipient opens an animated envelope, watches the card and reads your words.
A card, with a little life inside
The email is the invitation to the moment. Moonrise’s greeting email includes the artwork and card wording as a readable fallback, plus an Open your card link. The link leads to the envelope and animated card experience. The recipient can look at the front, read the inside and replay the animation.
You can preview that experience before paying. Check the name, message and artwork together: a funny card can still carry a sincere note, and a warm design does not need a long message to feel personal.
Digital delivery or a printable keepsake?
Choose the animated e-card when you want Moonrise to email the greeting now or at a scheduled time. Choose the separate print-at-home PDF when you want to download and print a physical card yourself. A PDF purchase does not include an animated email delivery.
An e-card does not require a postal address. You do need the correct recipient email address and permission to use it. Keep the greeting link private; anyone you share it with may be able to open it.
