What is the difference between an e-card and a printable card?
An animated e-card is emailed by Moonrise and opens on a private web page with an envelope reveal, animation and your message. A printable card is a PDF you download and print yourself. Moonrise e-cards start at $3 USD for up to five recipients; the separate print-at-home PDF costs $5 USD.
Choose an e-card for a moment across the miles
The animated option needs the recipient’s email, not a postal address. You add a personal message and choose send now or a future time. Moonrise sends the greeting after payment is confirmed and its send time arrives. The recipient can revisit the front and inside and replay the animation.
For a group, the same design, message and time can go to up to ten individually addressed recipients. The higher tier costs $6 total for six to ten people. The receipt and private order page let the purchaser follow known delivery results.
Choose a PDF when you want to hand it over
A print-at-home purchase gives you private access to the selected card’s PDF after payment. The current Thanksgiving PDFs use US Letter paper. Check your printer’s settings and the PDF preview before using your final paper. You provide the printer, paper and any physical delivery.
Printable download links expire 14 days after purchase, so download your file while the link is available. This is a personal-use product, not permission to resell the artwork or distribute purchased files as a product. A PDF purchase does not trigger an animated greeting email. If you want the mailed-by-Moonrise experience, choose the animated e-card instead.
